Still following the seeds
1. 70 total nations come out of this list of the Table of Nations that are not the chosen seed-line
a. Gen 10:1-5 - The sons of Japheth - 14 nations
b. Gen 10:6-20 - The sons of Ham - 30 nations
i. Canaan is cursed, Cush fathers Nimrod
c. Gen 10:21-32 - The sons of Shem through the line of Ebers son, Joktan - 26 nations
Disinheritance
1. Gen 10:8-12 - Nimrod - A hunter of people and animals
a. Babylon begins - Gen 10:10
b. similar to Egypt representing slavery - Babylon represents false religion / idolatry
i. Babylon isn’t destroyed until Revelation 18
2. Gen 11:1-9 - Disinheritance
a. Gen 11:1-2 - They got off the ark in the mountains and went down (Eastward - from the East - to the East) to the plains of Shinar and settled there
b. Gen 11:3 - They understood technology
c. Gen 11:4 - lest we obey
i. city and a tower - they weren’t supposed to build either
ii. they also wanted to build a name for themselves
iii. this was a ziggurat used for a temple and trying to communicate with elohim
d. Gen 11:5 - Christophany
e. Gen 11:6-7 - Come, let us (Gen 11:3, 4,1:26, 3:22, Isaiah 6:8)
f. Gen 11:8-9 - Dispersed and disinherited humanity + judged elohim
i. Deuteronomy 32:8-9 - dispersed / divided + inheritance
ii. Deuteronomy 4:19-20 - YHWH allotted them to them + inheritance
1. Daniel 4, 10 - watchers, princes
iii. A mark of a true prophet was if they stood in the Divine Council
1. 1 Kings 22:19-23 - Ahab
2. Isaiah 6:1-8
5. Job 1-2
6. Psalm 89:6-7
iv. Psalm 82 - Heavenly host = Divine Counsel = Assembly
1. Mankind was given authority and rebelled
2. These elohim have ruled unjustly and are corrupt, and there are cosmic consequences
a. they will die like men
b. their jobs have been given to others (Sons of God, heirs, conquerors)
i. 1 Cor 6:2-3, Rev 2:26-27, Rev 3:21, Luke 20:36, Rom 8:17
3. Isaiah 6:8 - “who will go for us?”

The LORD’s Portion
1. Gen 11:10-32 - The sons of Shem through the line of Eber’s son, Peleg. The chosen seed-line to Abram
a. 10 generations from Adam to Noah
b. 10 generations from Shem to Abram
2. Through Abram, all the nations will be blessed and brought back into the family
a. It’s a perfect place to start because Sarai is barren so people will know it took a miracle to start these people
i. so was Rebekah
ii. so was Rachel
b. From this point forward, it’s going to be Israel vs. the Nations and YHWH vs. the elohim
i. This is where the idea of spiritual warfare in the New Testament comes from
1. Carrying out the Great Commission is spiritual warfare
ii. Paul, the apostle to the Nations / Gentiles consistently talks about principalities, powers, rulers in heavenly places
3. God is going to make the Jews a kingdom of priests to represent Him to the nations - Exodus 19:6
a. this is why, when they fail, it’s such a big deal
i. the elohim failed
ii. the Jews failed
iii. the Gentiles failed
iv. Only Jesus represented the Father perfectly
b. Those that are ‘in Christ’ are now the kingdom of priests 1 Peter 2:9, Rev 1:6, 5:10, 20:6
4. Acts 2 is a reversal of the Babel incident
a. Acts 2:3 - tongues divided now reunited - Gen 11:7
b. Acts 2:6 - bewildered - Gen 11:9
